This article states thing in a humorous and overall disarming manner, but, it doesn't make the stories contained therein any LESS amazing.

Would you have the courage to lop off your own arm with a multi-tool, or would you just die where a huge boulder pinned you down? Well, apparently, one fellah was manly enough to decide that the arm had to go. I'm still amazed by the little girl and the stewardess, personally. (Oh, sorry. Flight attendant.) I don't think I could fall 30,000 feet, go into a coma, wake up, and ask for a cigarette. That's just ballsy.
